Our Solution for Green Roofs
Unfold, lock into place – done! The proven LORENZ aero mounting system impresses with its high degree of pre-assembly and has already been installed on countless flat roofs in the past. The engineers at LORENZ have now expanded the system with a new component: the 'Spacer,' making it ideal for PV systems on green roofs under the name LORENZ aero green.
The Spacer increases the distance between the roof surface and the underside of the solar modules to 32.5 cm. This provides the plants with sufficient height and light for optimal growth conditions, without the risk of shading the modules and the associated loss of yield.
When it comes to ballasting, we prioritize maximum flexibility: whether small paving stones weighing 2.6 kg, paving slabs of 10 or 20 kg – the choice is yours. Regardless of which option you select, the continuous base profiles of LORENZ aero ensure a high system interconnection and require only minimal ballasting.
LORENZ aero is suitable for flat roofs with a maximum pitch of up to 5°. The pre-assembled construction protection mat under the support feet ensures effective protection of the roof membrane.
